Heels for Healing Recap - September 27, 2014

Flo’s on 7th hosted its Sixth Annual Heels for Healing fundraiser sponsored by the Law Firm of Renaud Cook Drury Mesaros, PA and Sleep America Charities, where shoppers found incredibly low prices on designer shoes and handbags at a fraction of the original cost.

This year’s event was raised more than $25,000, which directly supports Florence Crittenton’s programs to empower girls and young women in the community.

Teaming Up For Girls Luncheon Recap- March 4, 2014

This year's Teaming Up For Girls Luncheon was a huge success thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, table hosts, attendees, in-kind donors, volunteers, and committee members. Close to 900 business leaders and community members attended the luncheon and helped raise more than $490,000 to help support the empowerment of girls and young women in our community.

We were all moved by keynote speaker Elizabeth Smart's courageous portrayal of her horrific experience being kidnapped. We were also honored to award Derek Clark, an ambassador for foster care youth, with this year's HOPE Award. A special thank you to the Event Co-Chairs Tracey and Larry Lytle and the entire Teaming Up For Girls Committee for their heartfelt efforts! Stay tuned for details for next year's luncheon.
